Novus has been on behalf of the trade union Kommunal, conducted a survey among a representative sample of the union’s members who are professionals in the home care and nursing homes, to investigate the perception of safety equipment during Coronavirus pandemic.

It turns out that more than one in three say that they at some point worked without proper protective equipment, and more than one in six have done so in recent weeks.

The survey also shows that half of all employees are worried about the supply of protective equipment, and five percent have chosen to go to work despite cold symptoms, in most cases, so as not to leave colleagues in the lurch.
