During this year’s WAPOR presentation, Torbjörn Sjöström delivered a broader lecture on the rise of populism. The presentation was very well received but, unfortunately, was not recorded. To make the content accessible to a wider audience, especially those who were unable to attend the conference, we decided to record the lecture afterward.

The lecture is a compilation of the combined experiences and insights of Novus and Torbjörn regarding the development of populism in Sweden and the broader Western world. The patterns identified have been recurring in many countries in recent years.
